Primary technologies
Core frameworks and ecosystems I reach for daily.
I am a Mobile Developer focused on building high-performance, cross-platform applications. At Magic Lane, I maintain a major consumer-facing app and work on the core SDK day to day. My main focus is software architecture, Dart FFI and native C++ bindings. Most of my time goes into building the layer that connects low-level C++ logic with Dart and the mobile stack above it. I like breaking down complex systems into modular, testable pieces and I treat clean architecture as the baseline for keeping things workable long-term. My strength is on the backend mobile side and SDK integration, but I hold UI work to the same structural standards.

Tools I’m comfortable with when a project requires them but I need a refresher to get up to speed.
SQLDevelopment practices I apply across all my projects.
In-depth case studies and highlights.
My Master's dissertation project, an educational app that teaches real Lua syntax to 10 to 14 year olds by having every instruction move a rover on a grid instead of printing to a console. The interesting part is lua_native, a package I built to bind the official Lua 5.5 C engine into Dart through FFI on native platforms and WebAssembly in the browser, including a setjmp/longjmp based guard so a Lua panic can't crash the host app. The Flutter client records every step as a frame so a run can be replayed and scrubbed without re-executing the script, and an ASP.NET Core backend handles accounts and multilingual lesson content.
My CS Bachelor's thesis project, built with ASP.NET Core and Flutter. The backend uses Clean Architecture with a runtime plugin system: new business logic ships as a DLL loaded at startup, so the core server never needs to change. The Flutter client caches menus and images locally to keep server requests light. The most interesting piece is SQL temporal tables: every menu version is preserved, so an order placed against an older menu always resolves to the right prices and items. A statistics dashboard covers the manager-facing side.
A Flutter app based on an older C++ project. It models the Romanian dictionary as a directed multigraph: nodes are two-letter prefixes and suffixes, edges are the words connecting them. Graph traversal finds dead-end nodes (out-degree zero) so the app can show which words leave an opponent stuck. The main challenge was loading the full word graph efficiently at startup and keeping lookups fast enough to run as the user types. The app is live on the Google Play Store.
A Flutter rebuild of the classic Cangurul Executant, a Romanian educational app written decades ago that is still referenced in schools and textbooks. The app lets students step through simple programs one instruction at a time, with an animated kangaroo showing what each command does. The idea is to make execution visible before students have to deal with real code syntax. The original is still used in classrooms and I hope the new version makes it easier to pick up, while keeping the core educational idea intact.
A quick overview of the rest of my work.

The source code of this portfolio website, built with React and TypeScript. It has sections for featured projects, a full project list, skills and a case study page. Built responsive and accessible, no external component libraries used.

A simple OpenGL demo simulating a fish aquarium with animated fish and underwater effects. Built using C++ and OpenGL, it demonstrates basic graphics programming techniques. Showcases 3D rendering, texture mapping and simple fish animation, together with billboard bubbles and skybox. It also allows for custom 3D model loading in the aquarium scene.

A Python-based headless script that automates adding subtitles to locally downloaded movies and TV shows, with support for recursive batch processing. Uses MKVToolNix and the OpenSubtitles API to automatically fetch and embed the best matching subtitles for each media file. Provides easy to use installer and context menu integration for Windows.

A Java and Spring Boot web application for book inventory and loan tracking. Deployed on AWS with EC2, S3 for static assets, RDS for the database, CloudWatch for logging and SES for email notifications.

A desktop platform built with C# and WPF. Uses Clean Architecture and MVVM to keep business logic and the UI layer separate. The data layer uses Entity Framework Core with the Repository pattern, which makes the individual modules easy to test independently.

A C# and WPF productivity tool focused on managing TODO list workflows through recursive data structures and visitor & composite design patterns. Unlike flat to-do lists, Task Nest implements a hierarchical tree architecture, allowing for infinite task nesting and granular sub-task tracking.
